Netstars Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Tsuyoshi Ri, Representative Director & President; hereinafter “Netstars”) received investment from a group company of Sumitomo Corporation, SCSK Corporation (headquartered in Koto-ku, Tokyo; Tooru Tanihara, Representative Director, President and Chief Operating Officer; hereafter “SCSK”) and T-Gaia Corporation (headquartered in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Nobutaka Kanaji, President and Chief Executive Officer; hereafter “T-GAIA”) and announced today that it has formed a capital tie-up with SCSK and T-GAIA.
Through this alliance, three companies will collaborate and widely disseminate the multi-QR code payment service “StarPay” developed by Netstars not only in Japan but also in Asia and other countries. In addition, Netstars plans and develops new solutions following “StarPay” with SCSK and develops the domestic and overseas sales through the cooperation of the three companies.
