NETSTARS Finalizes Agreement with “Paybooc”, Operated by Korea’s BC Card
Making Paybooc Available in Japan for the First Time

NETSTARS Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Tsuyoshi Ri; hereinafter, “NETSTARS”), announced on December 6, 2023 (Wed) that it has finalized an agreement to facilitate QR code payments made by visitors from Korea using the service Paybooc, which is provided by Korea’s BC Card Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: 170 Euljiro, Jung-gu, Seoul, Korea; CEO: Choi Won-seok; hereinafter, “BC Card”). The service will be available via NETSTARS’ multi-cashless payment solution “StarPay”, and will be the first-ever provision of Paybooc in Japan.*1

Paybooc is an e-wallet service managed by BC Card Co., Ltd., launched in 2017.
As of 2023, the service has 9 million members, with an average of 4 million monthly active users.
