Haneda Airport launches “Haneda Shopping” LINE mini-app version

Japan Airport Terminal Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Ota-ku, Tokyo; President: Nobuaki Yokota ) and NETSTARS Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Tsuyoshi Ri) have launched a new LINE mini-application version of Haneda Shopping to meet stay-at-home demand amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Haneda Shopping LINE mini-application is an e-commerce application exclusively for Haneda Airport within LINE, allowing LINE users anywhere in Japan to easily purchase airport-specific products, in-flight meals, and other products carefully selected by Haneda Airport, without having to download a new application.

Going forward, we will strengthen the linkage between the official Haneda Airport LINE account this LINE mini-application to create an environment where even customers who do not patronize the airport can more easily purchase its products.

■ A LINE mini-application is a web application that runs on LINE.

Using a LINE mini-application enables users to access services on LINE that meet a variety of lifestyle needs without having to install a separate app.

2. Products offered: Japanese confectioneries, Western confectioneries, prepared foods, miscellaneous goods, etc. *Some products are only available at Haneda Airport

How to search for the Haneda Shopping mini-application (Method 1)

Launch the LINE app, enter “Haneda Shopping” in the search banner at the top of the Home tab (entering “Haneda” will show the same result), and select the Services tab to see the Haneda Shopping icon.

Launch the LINE app and select Scan QR Code in the Add Friends section of the Home tab to launch the camera.
